Kicking off Season 11 with a positively legendary play among the world’s most popular and longest-running, Good Night will bring to life another literary visionary’s work this fall. In September, it’s the Queen of Crime’s tale of murder afoot in a stately manor during a particularly robust winter storm. The stage whodunit to end all stage whodunits, it’s the enduring classic… Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap!
OCT. 22-24, 2026
Then in October, Good Night will mount a rendition of a fantastical, surrealist stage masterpiece. Combining a score from one of theatre’s most iconic composers and the words of one of history’s greatest poetic storytellers, it’s our very own take on a positively perfect musical set in the streets of London. This fall, Good Night will be putting its very own spin on Andrew Lloyd Webber’s… Cats!
DEC. 10-13, 2026
As we wrap up 2026, Good Night will spend the holidays with one of the most popular Christmas-movie characters of all time. An identity crisis in the form of a hilarious trip from the North Pole to New York City — it’s the musical adaptation of the hit movie comedy, presented locally in its full original Broadway form for the first time in Sioux Falls… it’s Elf: The Musical!
FEB. 11-13, 2027
In February 2027, Good Night will return to the page, with an acclaimed biographical musical on coming of age in small-town Pennsylvania in the 1970s. Based on the bestselling graphic novel, it’s a story of self-discovery and the family ties that bind. It’s the Tony-winning Best Musical and critically adored drama… Fun Home!
APRIL 15-17, 2027
Then, in April, Good Night will debut a brand-new musical comedy from the writer of Legendary Adventure and Reality Wives. A story from the mind of a kid staying up late watching old movies way past their bedtime, this musical follows an imaginary set of toys acting out the whims of a freshly film-noir-obsessed movie fan. A hilarious suspense comedy featuring a teddy bear private investigator out to uncover the truth, it’s the seedy crime caper… The Big Plush: A Naptime Noir!
MAY 13-16, 2027
The big, brassy musical that will close out our upcoming 11th season in spring 2027 is a stage adaptation of one of the most celebrated movie musical classics of all time. It will cap off an awesome year of theatre with a toe-tapping, hilarious, romantic, positively precipitous show. In May of 2027, Good Night is proud to present to you… Singin’ in the Rain!
