Meet Our Class of 2024 Collective Members

It’s been such a delightful season with you all thus far, and we couldn’t be more excited to roll out the titles for our upcoming ninth season in just a couple weeks! And as the 2023-24 season wraps up with three more productions still to come, we are thrilled to announce to you the first bit of info on the exceptional talent that will be a part of Season 9, starting this fall. To get our season nine announcements started, we’d like to reintroduce you to five familiar faces to those of you who have been with us these last few seasons.

It’s time to induct a a new set of guest artists into our official performer collective!

About the Collective

Since 2019, Good Night has annually installed a new class of talented artists into our official performer collective, which functions similarly to a company or troupe. It’s comprised of former guest artists who have gone above and beyond, have a notable tenure with the organization, strive to live out Good Night’s mission and values, serve as beacons of professional and ego-free positivity in every production of which they’re a part and show consistent support and physical presence for their fellow actors and to the company as a whole.

Our newest five inductees are stupendous examples of each of these important criteria—from being integral and indispensable parts of the production process to showing up to support other artists throughout the season to leading by example with grace, kindness and professionalism. Meet the Class of 2024.

Tristan Chasing Hawk

Since making his Good Night debut as John Isaac in season seven’s Salem, Tristan has been such a constant and positive fixture on and off stage, from memorable turns as Hanschen in Spring Awakening and Ralph in Reefer Madness to helping backstage stagehanding for our production of Company or stage managing our recent musical, Legendary Adventure. With two more performances yet this season, Tristan is a hard-working and supportive team member who has left his mark these past two years!

George Gongopolous

After debuting with the Good Night Theatre Collective in our first collaboration with Headlights Theater in season five, George has been a mainstay behind the drums, performing many a musical and cabaret, from Little Shop of Horrors, You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown and Reefer Madness to A Road Trip Cabaret, A Honky-Tonk Cabaret and our recent Live & Local collaboration with the Washington Pavilion! A supremely gifted performer and consummate professional, we happily welcome George as an official collective member heading into season nine!

Kelsey Nicholson

Since starting with Good Night as part of season four’s A Fa-La-La Cabaret, Kelsey has returned to the Good Night stage in recent years in fine form, lending her lovely vocals and supportive and kind-hearted stage presence as Delilah in Salem and as Paula in last season’s Company! Kelsey is also a total pro behind the scenes, having recently stage-managed our production of Miracle on 34th Street. With her undeniable talent, her work ethic and her care and consideration for others, she’s the epitome of collective behavior!

Coleman Peterson

An undeniable triple-threat talent since debuting with Good Night in season five’s A Royal Cabaret, Coleman has been a fixture on the Belbas stage, lending his skills to such roles a Cinderella’s Prince in Into the Woods, Jack in Reefer Madness and Moritz in last fall’s Spring Awakening, not to mention capturing his singular energy as a vocalist in The Rewind Cabaret and An Animated Cabaret, among others. We’re so pleased to have this artist dedicated to excellence among our collective members starting in season nine!

Whitney Rappana

A multi-talented artist who first trod the Good Night stage in season six’s A Yuletide Cabaret, Whitney spent season seven with Good Night in an otherworldly series of memorable performances, from the incorrigible Amy March in Little Women, to the enigmatic Kathy in Company, to a pair of sensational turns in An Animated Cabaret and A Road Trip Cabaret. Since, Whitney has lent her hand on Good Night’s production team, recently directing, music-directing and choreographing last December’s Miracle on 34th Street!
