The Good Night Theatre Collective is a group of artists producing new and entertaining performances in the Sioux Falls, South Dakota area. Dreamt up over numerous rounds of cheese and crackers, four friends committed themselves to creating fun, unique and professional theatrical productions for the greater community.

Basically, we're nerds about theatre.

Martha Stai When she is not teaching her high school students the difference between adjectival and adverbial clauses, Company Manager Martha Stai loves to create theatre and music. Some of her most memorable roles include: The Narrator in Joseph..., Penny Pennywise in Urinetown, Eve/Mama Noah in Children of Eden, and The Baker's Wife in Into the Woods. She was most recently seen in Anthem, which was part of the Chicago Musical Theatre Festival, the Bare Bodkins productions of Hamlet and the Winter's Tale, and Mary Poppins, at the Sioux Empire Community Theatre, in which she perfected her posture and flying ability.

Ruth Sturm Marketing Manager Ruth Sturm believes that the best compliment she ever received was when a near stranger told her she belonged on a children's show involving puppets. A perennial character actress, her favorite roles include the Wicked Witch of the West in The Wizard of Oz, Dolly Levi in The Matchmaker, Karen in Jake's Women, and a Bad Idea Bear in Avenue Q, She spends her time offstage reading about changes in the world of digital marketing  – which, it just occurred to her, is actually incredibly embarrassing.

Bob Wendland Artistic Director Bob Wendland loves three things - the people (and pets) with which he surrounds himself, potatoes in all forms and theatre. He has worn many hats (actor, director, producer, choreographer and designer) and played many parts, such as Adam/Noah in Children of Eden, Ophelia in Hamlet, Mark in Rent, El Gallo in The Fantasticks and Caldwell B. Cladwell in Urinetown. But you probably recognize him as Troll #4 in his elementary's production of Sleeping Beauty - formative years, those.
