Meet Our Class of 2023 Collective Members

Another year, another illustrious set of folks gearing up for one amazing season! Good Night is poised and ready to launch its eighth season this coming fall, if you can believe that! And as the 2022-23 season wraps up in the next couple months, we are so pleased to reveal to you the first glimmers of the outstanding talent that will gracing Season 8 starting in October. To kick things off, we’d like to reintroduce you to five familiar faces to those of you who have been with us these last few seasons.

It’s time to induct a handful of guest artists into our official performer collective!

About the Collective

Since 2019, Good Night has annually installed a new class of talented artists into our official performer collective, which functions similarly to a company or troupe. It’s comprised of former guest artists who have gone above and beyond, have a notable tenure with the organization, strive to live out Good Night’s mission and values, serve as beacons of professional and ego-free positivity in every production of which they’re a part and show consistent support and physical presence for their fellow actors and to the company as a whole.

Our newest five inductees are stupendous examples of each of these important criteria—from being integral and indispensable parts of the production process to showing up to support other artists throughout the season to leading by example with grace, kindness and professionalism. Meet the Class of 2023.

Brady Boerema

Since making his Good Night debut in season four’s The Rocky Horror Show, Brady has lent his immense performing talents to four additional Good Night productions, including a delightful turn as Milky White (among others) in Into the Woods; a charming portrayal of Linus in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown; a devilishly entertaining take on the Minister in Salem; and a novel and grounded performance as Laurie in last year’s Little Women! He’s a wildly gifted theatre artist who always leads with gratitude and kindness.

Matt Cook

After debuting with the Good Night Theatre Collective, masterminding stunning visuals for season four’s The Rocky Horror Show, Matt has forayed his talent for unique and captivating lighting design to such a wide variety of Good Night productions, from the dramatic and striking Salem, to the charming and candy-colored You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, to the transporting Reefer Madness, to the transcendent Into the Woods. Matt is an intensely creative, congenial soul with a deep well of ideas that have given many a Good Night outing the visual flair to go above and beyond the expected!

Jane Ruud

Since starting with Good Night as part of the band in season four’s The Rocky Horror Show, Jane has left her mark as a consummate professional with a gift for guiding vocalists and instrumentalists alike to great artistic success! Jane’s leadership has included music directing show after show for the Good Night crew, including Little Shop of Horrors, You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, Reefer Madness and the upcoming Company. Jane’s dedication to high-quality musicianship and community-building with a cast are hallmarks of what makes her such a special and deserving member of the collective!

Kim Sonnichsen Skatvold

Since making her Good Night debut in season two’s David & Lucy, Kim has graced the stage with the collective in many a memorable ensemble cast, from her heartbreaking Violet and Zuzu in It’s a Wonderful Life, to her lively puppetry work in Little Shop of Horrors, to her hilarious comedic chops displayed as Peppermint Patty in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown and as the Placard Girl in Reefer Madness. Kim’s natural performing gifts and her talent for being a community connector among a cast of artists are just a couple of the core reasons she is a perfect illustration of what makes a great collective member!

Alexondrea Thong Vanh

Alexondrea began her Good Night journey as Bellomy in season five’s memorable outdoor production of The Fantasticks. Since, she’s left her mark on a variety of roles for the company, from her vibrant take on the Baker’s Wife in Into the Woods, to her heartbreaking portrayal of Deliverance in Salem, to her outrageously hilarious turn as Veronica in God of Carnage! Alexondrea has demonstrated her leadership and artistry on and off the stage, through her work as Good Night’s scenic charge, as well as through her dedication to craft, community and care for others.
