Good Nights with Good Night: A Christmas Story

It's our December Good Night with Good Night! During the 2017/2018 year, we will be featuring one show a month that we are very excited about: and we want you to see it with us. In December we will be attending A Christmas Story, produced by the the Dakota Academy of Performing Arts at the Washington Pavilion! To learn more about the show or this Sioux Falls theatre program, visit their website. We are so proud to have three of our collective members on the production team behind this great musical!

This musical, which received rave reviews on its Broadway run, is based on the movie classic that runs round-the-clock on television every Christmas. Set in the 1940s in the fictional town of Hohman, Indiana, the musical follows 9-year-old Ralphie Parker and his quest for the Holy Grail of Christmas gifts—an Official Red Ryder carbine-action 200-shot Range Model air rifle. Rebuffed at every turn with a similar echoing response, Ralphie plots numerous schemes to achieve his desperate desire for the coveted BB gun.
